Local, seasonal cooking
We have a varied menu with meals made using seasonal products and inspired by local Ardèche recipes. We serve home-made food, cooked fresh every day, which may sometimes take a little longer but is guaranteed to please the palate!
We cook local products grown by neighbouring producers, more often than not farmed organically – charcuterie, eggs, cheese, Ardèche dairy products, chestnut purées and jams, olive oil, snails from the village… If you particularly like a product, you can buy it from our little shop.
Stews and casseroles are the chef’s speciality – basil and garlic soup (“pistou soup”), beef stew, Ardèche risotto, “bombine” (boiled potatoes with onion, carrot and olives), and minced wild fowl with dill… Ardèche dishes are just another meal away!
Other meals inspired by Made in Ardèche – the Goudoulet pizza, Ardèche trout with almonds, chestnut sponge…
In the holiday season, Wednesdays and Thursdays are special!
Every Wednesday, Fred cooks us up the Briange Special for you to enjoy while getting to know other couples and families from across the whole of Europe. It’s an evening that both our regulars and new visitors look forward to!
And every Thursday, we make Ardèche crepes (with chestnut flour of course), both savoury and sweet varieties, washed down with a St Remèze fizzy wine.
Our restaurant is open from May through to September (reserve in advance for group bookings outside this period). In July and August, the restaurant is open every evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm (last orders) – the rest of the time, you can ask for a typical Ardèche snack, savoury or sweet (from 12am to 10pm).
Holiday with half-board
Catching up with friends, or for family get-togethers and celebrations, for a club or school outing, or perhaps a business seminar – there are all sorts of reasons to plan a stay at our campsite, in comfortable accommodation that best suits your group.
We also offer the option to choose half-board, with or without lunch-time picnic, so that you can discover our local cuisine and not have to worry about meals. Whether buffet style or a party menu, we can look at the options together to see what works best for you.
From March to November, you can dine in our restaurant dining room or on the terrace overlooking the pool, or even in a marquee (depending on the size of your gathering and the weather)!Book your stay
